What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CO
I have been subpoenaed to appear in a Municipal court for a case of property damage by somebody when an intoxicated person broke my light. I'll be out of country on that day as I had booked my tickets 3 months ago. What are my options?

Call the prosecutor and inform him or her of the conflicting date. They may or may not be able to continue the matter until after you are back home. If they cannot continue the matter, you may be out of luck.
