"Tapped"Let me "reword this". I'm from Arizona, my friend recieved a letter from the State Att. Gen. nofiying them that their phone had been "tapped" for 4 months. He was notified of this 5 months later. He has never been in trouble w/the law. He doesn't know if he needs to contact the State Att. Gen., the city Police, or get a lawyer. Could his phone still be "tapped?" Thank you so much for your time! Anxiously Awaiting!! ![]() |

| I don't think anyone can really answer your question. But yes, he should assume the phone is still tapped. Yes, he should contact the Attorney Generals Office; And a definate maybe on retaining an attorney. Did he say anything incriminating on the phone? Is he involved in illegal activities? |

| That's crazy, why would they notify him that his phone was tapped? Are you sure the letter is legit? - Regardless, I'd find a criminal attorney in your area. |
