Teacher and rights regarding searchesWhat is the name of your state? Ohio I am doing research for a project in a School Law course about searches. I have found quite a bit of information regarding students (TLO, etc.) But I don't see much about searches with regards to teachers... this might even extend to administrators. If you know of links or have direct information for me, please let me know. Thanks. |

| Check under employment law. Students are not employees, but are customers, or clients, and fall in a grey area of the law, thus all the Court decisions about student searches. Teachers are employees and that law is pretty well established.
