What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I was caught in shoplifting and was assigned a second degree felony. This is my first felony, but I had stolen small things from the same store previously, but never got caught. If the store finds it out what charges and punishment am I facing? I am in the United States on a student visa and have a good standing in college. I live in Oregon State. I need some advice. I am here all by myself with a little daughter. I feel very embarrassed and nervous waiting for the court date. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
