A few years ago my husband was arrested for old fines. The fines were for driving on a suspended license and no insurance. He served 4 months in the work center at the county jail. During his time he did physical labor for the county. He lost his job his car and his apartment while serving time. The judge said he didn't get time served to teach him a lesson. Now he still has warrants for his arrest and owes all the fines. Is there any way around this or anything we can do?

Your husband should speak to an attorney in whatever state you and your husband reside, preferably before he is arrested on the warrants. There appears to be more to the story than what you are relating here.
