my son-in-law was falsely accused of burglary of a building and was arrested through a JP court not in the same jurisdiction. it was done through JP3 and the building was in JP1 precinct. it has been months since he turned himself in and the warrant was closed. on the denton county website it shows disposed, but he had to put up a huge bond, it is malicious accusation from someone he is sueing, and nothing has been done. no trial date is set, how long do they have to set a trial date? or dismiss?
thank you.
