What is the name of your state? new york
how long can you be jailed ? while your waiting to see the judge
to set bail.my son has sat from may 3, 2002 to now.over to
months.he was arrested on a felony.

Some felonies have no bond and the defendant must see the judge to have one set.

What is he in jail for?

had stolen credit card. and accused of burglery. he was to be
arained the day after his arrest but they postponed it.judge was
not able to see him.and still has not seen him.even to read the
charges against him.or set bail or bond.it has been about 10
weeks.what is the time limit waiting to see a judge.
