Information please? TX DL

Can I get a Texas Driver's License with a CA warrant? The charge was for "wet reckless" and I didn't finish my summary probation and reappear in court, because of a family death that forced me to move to TX. I would like to get this taken care of but am afraid to go back to CA for fear I would be arrested at the courthouse, if I even made it that far. My child would be an orphan! Can the case or probation be transferred here? Can't afford attorney, please help, pitiful lost and despaired
