Underage CitationWhat is the name of your state? Pa I got arrested for underage drinking one night and they let me go without any penalties. The next evening, I was arrested for underage drinking again by the same cops. The first night, they didn't know how to work the breathalizer and they made me do it at least 4 times while they read the directions. The 2nd night, they tried it 3 times. They wrote me a citation for the 2nd night, and told me they would mail me a citation for the first night. This was my first offense.1. Can they issue me a citation for the night before when they already let me go? 2. Am I definitely going to lose my liscense? 3. How many times are the police allowed to test me with the breathalizer? 4. Should I get a lawyer? |

I don't know PA statutes in regards to losing your license for underage drinking, but I'm sure some minimal googling on your part can answer your own question. They can test as many times as they want. That's up to you. With these being first offenses, you may just see a slap on the wrist. Of course, if you think you're gonna try pleading not guilty and get out of this, then I'd say you'll most definitely need a lawyer. |

| At least start going to some Alcoholic Anonymous meetings prior to the court date. Get a signature from the person running the meeting to confirm you attended & bring them to court on the date of your arraignment and plea. Be sure the court has both your citations together - you'll do better dealing with them together. |
