When one violates his or her probation does it result in automatic jail time?What is the name of your state?

It's not automatic & there is no 'schedule'.

It will depend on the Judge (liberal or conservative re PVs),
and the charge itself,
and what exactly the violation was.
Also, if the Prosecutor starts jumping up and down for a pound of flesh
(as you have proven you are a poor candidate for probation and you are probably a threat to the community by your behavior), and
whether the Judge is running for office, and
what mood the Judge is in.
