What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

Can my husband be charged with a violation of probation - the original charge he was put on probation Februay 13. A new charge for a misdem was filed on April 25 but the incident happened on January 20 which is before he was on probation, he was never arrested only summons. Can they violate him for this.

As long as he discloses the matter to his PO, even if he is convicted of something that occurred prior to his conviction for which he is on probation should not be an issue.
Most probation conditions require reporting of any contact with law enforcement so he needs to comply with that.
