What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? tx
i have a warrant out for me in GA a misdemeanor that is stopping me from work.
i am in TX now
i have been told there is nothing i can do but turn myself in GA
is there something else i can do ?
also can i be extradited ?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Hire a lawyer in the county the warrant was issued in and see if there is something he can do to resolve it without you making an appearance, but it's possible you may have to go turn yourself in (and you'd still want the lawyer handy).

Can you be extradited, sure but it's uncommon for misdemeanors. What can happen is it bites you in any number of ways like you've noticed. If you're stopped somewhere, a police department may decide to hold you pending finding out if Georgia does want to extradite.
