What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oklahoma

I received a traffic ticket for speeding and no license in January 2012.
I went to court and made payment arrangements.
I paid $50.00 but did not complete my commitment.

I now have a warrant.
Can I go back to court and have them extend my payment arrangements?

What did they say at the court when you asked them?

You need to reappear and make arrangements the court will accept to remove the warrant. Hint... They want their money. They also want money for issuing and removing the warrant.

I'll bet that because you didn't even bother to follow up on the payment arrangements, they may be less than enthusiastic about accepting a new payment arrangement from you without a SIGNIFICANT payment towards the unpaid fine balance.

Of course, if they do consider it, you're going to have to come up with a reasonable response to why you never made any further payments or contacted the court about changing the existing payment arrangements before they issued the warrant. And apparently they can also suspend your license for failing to honor the existing arrangement as well.

Hopefully. All you can do is turn yourself in and ask the judge. The best option (of course) is to come up with the full amount so you are released and do not have to see the judge. goodluck.
