warrant information

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?In Kentucky 25 years ago, a friend was charged with drunk & disorderly. Just recently he was pulled over & when his ii.d. was ran this warant showed up. With it just being a misdemeanor, should this be dismissed? Or do warants wether felony or misdemeanor never expire? Warrants do not really expire, though they may not be renewed in the national, state or local computer systems after a few years.

Chances are he can get the matter dropped as it is unlikely anyone really cares about a 25 year old misdemeanor. To be safe, your friend should speak with a local attorney.
