What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida

Hello everyone! Hoping to get an answer to 2 questions for a friend of mine. There's been a warrant issued for his arrest for "conspiracy to traffic opioids." He's got an appointment to see his attorney tomorrow so he can get some advice on what his next step should be. My question is, if the attorney knows that he has a warrant, by law does the attorney have to call law enforcement and tell them his whereabouts? May seem as a silly question, but i've asked a couple of people and their not sure of the answer.
With the conspiracy, don't they have to witness him while investigating to actually charge him with trafficking? This is quite confusing to me, hopefully someone will be able to clarify this for me.
