What does it mean when an attorney does not return calls? I have not hired this attorney yet, but I called him twice to ask for a consultation. Why don't these attorneys tell you straight out they do not want to represent you?

Usually the calls are taken by secretaries .

If they take your info. and pass it along to the Attorney , and the Attorney is not interested , they have NO obligation to set up a consult date with you .

Take the hint , and start calling around .

It could be that he's busy ... they DO have clients and court dates.
