will police come to my new job?

What is the name of your state?i live in new york state and i have a warrant for failure to appear in court.my court date was on june of 2004 i already pleaded guilty to harrasment and criminal contempt/violating a order of protection, the judge promised me a year for that it was a condition and i broke it so... on top of that i have new charges regarding domestic violence that the detectives are still looking for me to question or arrest me . they came to my job at first so i had no choice but to quit. i know through my own sources that the police are looking for me not only the police in the dv department but also the warrant squad .my question is if i try to find a new job will they trace me by my s.s. number and arrest me at the new job ?

You must take alot of Rolaids being this stressed out. I'm sorry, but This is not a forum to help criminals on the run.

In fact, you are so astonishingly correct in this matter, it will not surprise us one bit if you are offered a generous settlement, because, by golly, that’s just how it should be.

Priest! For Gawd's sake man! Get a grip! Of course you are going to be on their list. For FTA and then the other stuff. You have two choices: turn yourself in or live a fool's life on the lam.

And I'm sure it's also serious to the state and to your victims.

Yes, they will come after you. Yes, they may come to your new job. Yes, you will have this dogging you for the rest of your life unless you deal with it.

Because of the warrants you will not be eligible for most government-backed loans, government assistance, and most good jobs.

Have fun on the lam.

If, as you post, you not only have a date with a jailer to keep that you have missed and that you are intentionally avoiding, as well as future charges for additional domestic violence yet to be faced, your question here whether the hunt for you will stop because of a change in employment is absurd.

Domestic violence appears to be a pattern here. Get help for it, not run from it. To run is to get eventually caught, and the need for help for your anger problem would still exist.
