Withholding of property

What is the name of your state? Oklahoma

My ex-roomate received some items from his uncle which were gotten illegaly online. The police came over to my apartment, found the items and took them along with my computers. They had a search warrant to take my computers, CD's, other documents, and the officer told me all he had to do now was to "scan" my computer for any evidence and it wouldn't take long. This was 3 weeks ago.

I was just wondering if there is any way i could get my computer back before school starts because i feel the cop is giving me the run around because the case (according to other officers) should have been closed by now since all the illegaly gotten items had been returned to their owner. The cop also told my roomate that he had "scanned" the computers and was looking at the results but when i called him he told me he had not looked at them yet and that he would call me back (which he always says but never does).

Is there a law or time limit for withholding items because I feel really ticked off about the way the cop is handling this case.

My response:

Instead of calling yourself "bad perspective," you should be calling yourself "Bad Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling."

What the heck does this mean? - -

"IF YOU WERE aware of the gotton items . . ."
