What is the name of your state? Alabama

I was recently fired for stealing. I am paying back what they said I took. How will I know if they are going to press criminal charges against me and what do I do if they do?

When the police show up at your house to arrest you will know they pressed charges. If that happens you dont say a word to anyone until you speak to a lawyer. The fact that you are paying them back helps.

Is there not a way to find out if charges were pressed before the cops show up at my house. It has been a month since it happened.

Ask them if they are pressing charges or not.
