wrong person arrested

My son was wrongly arrested on a charge of theft of services when accused of coping a parking/ camping permit at Lorreta Lynns national Motocross race in waverly, Tn. The document was never in contact or in the possesion of my son. The document in question was found on the dash of another persons vehicle. My son never had any knowlege of the reproduced document. He was arrested and spent the night in the Humphreys Co. Jail without being aloud to make a phone call to anyone on the outside. The only thing that my son could have been accused of was back talking to the promoter of this event when he
was told to keep his mouth shut. It is news to me that in America you must keep your mouth shut just because a female that is having a bad day tells you to. Do they have a case to stand on?

Something is missing from your account. If there was absolutely no connection between your son and the permit, how did the police happen to arrest your son? Was it completely random? The police have to have probable cause to believe he committed a crime before arresting him. Therefore, there must be some evidence on which they are basing the arrest.
