I am having no luck with my DV settlement as a 3rd party. I obtained a Wreck Check appraisal report. Not including the appraisal fee itself, the DV from Wreck Check came out to about $1900 for my 2003 esclipse that was hit. The insurance company is only giving me about $1000.
I read that someone else in the forum was denied DV from Wreck Check services. Is there anything else I can do? Shall I just take the money and just move on? I have a lawyer handling just my personal inuries, but could I hand this paperwork over to him and get something out of the total injury claim? OR should I just file it as a loss on my taxes?
