What is the name of your state? MASSACHUSETTS

I have no received anything offical in the mail yet, but the insurance company with which I am filing a 3rd party claim for the car rental has informed me that they determination was 50/50 at fault. I had previously believed that this could not be the case, and one party must always be at least 51% at fault. What happens with the deductible and insurance points of both parties are 50/50 fault? Thanks.

Consider yourself lucky, nothing happens. Your SDIP will stay the same, no surcharge.
