Accident

Im in California
hi...
i was coming home from work at 1am
i had my license for 9months n its still provisional, so i cant drive after 12am
but i read somewhere that if i have a reason like work or school i can drive after 12am is that true?
ok about the incident
i got hit, by a guy in the middle of a 5lane one way street.
he either tried to make a left turn because he juss noticed that was the street he was suppose to turn on?
well he hit me cause of that n iono wuts gonna happen cause im still on provisional, is that gonna hurt me?
