accident

What is the name of your state? ohio

I was in a car accident in 1995. At the time it was not a big deal and I received a small settlement. My question is, I am now having problems with my lower back, hips and legs. I have gone to the doctor's and have had MRI's and an EMG done on all these things. It has been determined that the cause is from the accident I was in. Since I already received a small settlement is there anyway I can go after the driver of the vehicle that hit me. The only way they can treat my condition is with arthiritis medicine, pain medication, and a muscle relaxer. This is going to be a condition that I will have to live for the rest of my life. Can I go after pain and suffering and future medical bills? Please advise. The bottom of the settlement says the following************** We acknowledge that we have advised our attorney of all subrogated claims, protected insterests and outstanding medical bills of which we are aware and we acknowledge and understand that any furture claims regarding these are our responsibility and not that of our attorney. Do I have any legal rights on this matter?

My response:
