| | | Accident Coverage What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I live in Illinios. I was in a bad motorcycle accident back in 2005. Can you tell me if you are able to "stack" policies? The guy who hit me had $100,000 of coverage and my policy had $250,000 in coverage. We both had State Fram Insurance. Seems to me $350,000 should be availiable not the $250,000? |

| | | It depends on the policy, but most commonly, underinsured motorist coverage does not stack with the at-fault party's coverage. If you have UIM of 250k and the other person has 100k, then you have 150k available to you under your own policy - up to 250k TOTAL. | |
