Accident Driving Someone else's car

What is the name of your state? Wyoming is where accident occured

Hello, thanks for any advice.

Here is the situation:

On my way home from a vacation last year driving a friend of a friend's car (with their permission and them in the car) I got in an accident where the other vehicle involved was damaged. At the time the Friend of a Friend (FOF) did not have their insurance card with them but was admaninite both before and after the accident they had insurance. I do believe they have it but they have not been forthcoming with the insurance company's name.

Now the state of Wyoming wants me to complete an SR-21 with the information. Is there any way for me to force the information from him legally? Also, if he does have insurance would I be covered. I did get a letter yesterday about owing the debt but have not called to see if it was from his insurance (the FOF) or the other drivers insurance.

If he did have insurance you are probably covered. Do YOU have insurance on your own car? If so, and he does not, then you will be covered by your own insurance.
