accident with my son

What is the name of your state? Washington

My son was hit by pickup truck when he was riding a scooter on left side, he was coming from driveway. when truck hit him, truck drag him under about 8 ft, he has fractures and deep scratches. track was driving in center on street about 10 ft from left curb and 12 ft from right curb.
Sheriff told us that driver is not gulity.
he did not give us any info about driver only case number and sherifs phone.

I want to know if drivers insurance will cover medical bill, or my homeowners isurance or my medical insurance?

how old is your son? Did he just dart into the street in front of the truck? Any witnesses other than the driver and your son?

Does your family have health insurance? If yes, go through your plan for your son's treatment.

You can make a claim against the other driver's auto carrier but be ready for the claim to be denied. Your homeowner's insurance may not provide coverage for injuries from an auto accident. Check with your insurance agent and read your policy.

Actually your auto insurance may be responsible for covering the medical bills before your health insurance. Check with them, it depends on the laws of your state.

why would the auto carrier provide coverage? The kid was not using a car or a passenger in a car that is covered under the poster's policy.
