Accident No Information

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I got into an accident about 2 weeks ago. It surprised me and I kind of panic. No information was exchanged except for phone numbers and names.

Now, I've been trying to get a reach of the person and their insurance company but have not heard from them. I would like to get my car fixed as soon as possible, but can't because the other person was at fault and I don't have any of his information except for a phone number and his rental car information.

What can I do to resolve this?

Turn the claim into your own insurance company.
