accident question

What is the name of your state? Michigan

I was in an auto accident yesterday. I was driving on a road northbound at approx. 40 mph (speed limit) and a SBC truck was at a stop sign on the westbound crossroad. He came directly across the road and struck me just behind the drivers door (I drive a Ford F150). My car ended up flipping and when I finally stopped the truck was on its roof. I unbuckeled my seatbelt and crawled out the driver side window. I received some cuts (left arm required stitches) and have a major headache still. I went to the emergency room and was checked out. I have some pain in my right shoulder, neck and general pain everwhere, but I was forunate and my headache is the worst pain I have. The driver of the SBC van admitted to me and the police that it was his fault and that he thought the accelerator stuck and it had been doing it recently. My truck was brand new and is obviously totaled. My question is do I have any grounds to pursue legal action. I'm sure my insurance will cover all my damages, but I'm asking if I have any other options to pursue. He admiited his accelerator was sticking, so I thought I would just throw the question out there to see. I live in Michigan. Thx.

Q: My question is do I have any grounds to pursue legal action.

A: Yes. Hire a lawyer for details.
