What is the name of your state? Hawaii. What is the proper way to deal with a guy who backed into another guy and there was no police report. He now wants me to pay for his broken light . This just happened this a.m. but now he says he wants $1800.00 for it to be replaced. Where do I go from here? Thank you in advance for your help.

Tell him you want 3 estimates from legitimate body shops then pay the lowest. Or call your insurance company so they can take care of it.
