My 1998 BMW 740 IL was hit by a truck running a red light doing about 50 mph on the passenger side. The car has side airbags and they did not go off. There were injuries and I called BMW. They will be sending engineers out from NJ to CA to look at the car. Is there any compensation I can get from BMW? The injury claims will be paid by the other parties insurance company.

Get your lawyer involved BEFORE they examine it -- auto and other companies sometimes tamper with the evidence.

If the failure to deploy added to the injury, the auto company also may be liable.

Check out https://accident-law.freeadvice.com/insurance_company_settle.htm if you are thinking of handling this on yourself.
