am i bound to accept lawyers letter


What is the name of your state?
newjersey
i met with an accident on nov 4th
it was my freinds car which i was driving i hit the bus from back
at that timenothingh happened just a police report was made nothingh else was there
i got a letter from lawyer
now again i am being sent a certified etter from lawyer
am i bound to take the letter
or is that i am bound to reply laywer
kindly guide

wha can be if i dont accept the letter

**A: confusing post. What do you mean "take the letter?"
Was the letter send by the lawyer a certified rrr letter and are you asking if you should sign to receive it? Or did you already get it and read it?

i havent recieved it yet

**A: there is no state or Federal law requiring you to pick up, sign for and receive the certified mail. But you should because the next step would be a civil complaint served by a sheriff.
