another CCC question

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

after reading another post about CCC valuation, i thought i'd ask a couple questions of my own.

we have a totaled Harley -- 2007 with less than 5000 miles on it, not a scratch on it, garage kept, perfect condition

as i mentioned in another post, they graded it in average condition which i don't quite agree with.

they only had 2 vehicles in state to compare it to.

they say the source is autotrader.com. i can't find where autotrader shows bikes. maybe i'm just missing something.

one dealer is listed in a neighboring city, but i can't find any listing anywhere, web, phone book, anything for them.

the other dealer is said on the report to be in our city -- but they aren't. they are even further away than the other one - about 200 miles away -- not a big deal distance wise, but the mistake makes me wonder.

add to that, the other report that lists parts to replace has things on it that weren't damaged at all. past the front end of the bike, there's not a scratch on it. the forks, suspension, engine guard, etc are a complete mess -- but things like the rear lights and saddlebags are in perfect condition.

any opinions on whether these are big enough issues to argue about?
specifically, average vs above average or excellent condition
only 2 vehicles on the report
autotrader.com the source and no motorcycle option on the site (unless i'm just not seeing it)
an apparently non-existent dealer
the wrong city assigned to a dealer

in the past, we've gotten the insurance offer upped because they left options off of our vehicle or listed cheap vehicles that didn't exist when we called the dealer to verify

I think you can definitely argue your vehicle's condition as above average or excellent. That will get you a lot farther then just trying to find fault in the report itself (if you can back it up, which it seems you can.

Comparables for motorcycles are going to be harder to find, so they will rely more on archived data.
