1992 Ga, got DUI, Lic.suspended until court. Lived alone, drove to work ea. day. Before I could go to court , had accident. Accident my fault. Told body shop to fix her car, would pay cash for repaires. Damages est. more than car's value. State of Ga, you only pay up to car's worth. Borrowed money to pay for car. Refused money, wanted enough money to buy new car. When case went to court, I just had 2 major surgeries, ( MD told me I could no longer work ). Had no money for lawyer. Judge found for defendant. Saw attorney for the Insurance Co. told him my medical problems. He told me he would advise Insurance Co to drop Judgement. Today still in same position, still unable to work, no job, no money.Received notice from state recently that my Drv Lic was suspended again, for judgement passed in 1992. If I file banckruptcy for this judgement, what do I do to get state to give Drv. Lc. back? Told it will be hard to get State to give them back even with debt discharged.
