My 17yr. old son was in an accident 2 days ago. It was totally the other person's fault. No one was injured. My son was checked over at hospital. I believe my 94 grand am is totaled. It has 90 thousand miles, and I know the insurance company is not going to allow much for it even though it was in good shape. The car was paid for and I do not want to go in debt for another. The other driver, who was also a minor, was charged with DUI. Does this fact possibly give me an advantage to bargain with the other driver's insurance co?

My response:

Read the post just below yours, and this response ("I Hate Insurance Adjusters") and see if you still want to handle your matter, or get an attorney.
