I was in an auto accident - my fault - 6 injured. If my insurance policy limitations does not cover the total amount for all 6 injured what happens then? Will I be sued personally? Occurred in the state of California

My response:

That is exactly what can happen. If your insurance limits are not high enough, the claimants, or the driver's insurance company, will come after you for any damages above your limits that your insurance will not cover.
