I was involved in a collision which was not my fault. I know I can choose to go through the other party's insurance or let my company deal with it. The other party has insurance designed for persons who can't get insurance elsewhere. Am I better off going through his company or mine? If I go through mine I will lose my 200.00 deductible even though I was not at fault. Also, am I entitled to a rental car while my car is being repaired? I live in Maryland. Thanks

I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship.

If you go through their company, you are more likely to get it. If you go through your company, look at your policy coverage.
