auto accident

What is the name of your state? Texas

I have a friend that was in an auto accident over 3 years back. He hit a car with two people inside. They had stopped suddenly without reason. The cops came...neither were issued tickets. The two people seemed fine until the ambulance came and then claimed pain. Well, it's been 3 years and my friend assumed all was over...that his insurance had taken care of everything. He never heard anything from anyone until now...he's been mailed a request for admissions to the accident from an attorney. The two people have recently passed away due to I DONT KNOW WHAT. Now, their relatives are suing my friend for negligence in this accident. Their reps attorneys have sent him a 40 page questionaire to fill out.... He recieved this 3 months back....thinking that it was some sort of scam...he didnt respond. NOw, they are calling him and his family to get him to respond to the Interrogatories. The papers say that he had 50 days to respond. Should he have to respond. This accident was over 3 years ago. Isnt the statue of limitations for personal injury in Texas 2 years? HELP**************.this boy has no monies and owns nothing but his 15 year old son. What is the name of your state?

He needs to turn everything over the insurance company that insured him at the time of the accident.
