What is the name of your state? California
My girlfriend was in a single vehicle auto accident and was slightly injured. The CHP breathalyzed her and it was .09. She passed the field sobrieity test and that is the last she heard from the CHP. She was not issued any paperwork or a citation. Is she in the clear or can she be cited later? She was not asked for a blood test and the officer did not follow her to the hospital. What should she be prepared for?
thanks

She can be charged up to one year from the date of the accident. She will likely soon receive some bad news from the CHP and the local DA's office.
