What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? GA I was in a car accident almost 2 years ago and I am still in treatment. I am wanting to send the other driver's insurance company a demand letter. Do I send it certified? Also do I have to send one to the other driver as well. I can not find her address anywhere.

I was told by her insurance company that I only have 2 years to file a claim. I am preferring not to get an attorney.

You misunderstand...

The time to file a LAWSUIT is 2 years from the date of injury. You had better get on this ASAP, otherwise you may be out of luck! Contact an attorney NOW.
