we were involved in a very serious accident dec 1993 in missouri. The at fault party had no insurance.the dept of revenue found them libal for $47,000.can we still take him to court and seek a judgement on him?the dor says they will remove his driving priviledges for 10 years once we have a judgement.what court would this go through and can we garnish wages etc?

You may have waited too long. Missouri has a 5 year statute of limitations in civil cases. I have never heard of a state department of revenue having any authority to set dollar amounts in accidents or having the authority to restrict driving priveliges. I would advise you to seek counsel from a personal injury attorney immediately. Your insurance company should have taken the lead in seeking collection of damages after the accident.
