| My insurance expired and had a car accident yesterday, march 16th. I live in missouri.
The other driver has Allstate insurance. I went down AFTER the accident and now have insurance. Policy states effected 12:01 march 16th. Does that mean that I was covered then?? I did not purchase it until around 4:30pm on March 16th?? The accident happened at around 2:10pm March 16th.
The other driver came out of a Churches Chicken outlet..he was going across the road when I was in the left lane going straight and there was a truck on my right and I did not see the car cross my road way..he was crossing a double yellow line and was going to turn left when I hit him.
The accident to me looks like it was his fault for coming across the street trying to turn left. This was not at a corner either.
My question is is'nt this accident his fault even if I did'nt have insurance at the time??
