Hello. My husband was involved in a minor car accident, resulting in the other party attemping to sue us for large $'s. The deposition happened last month. Our insurance co. has never made an offer to the other party. I have heard it would be a good idea to write a letter to our insurance co demanding they settle within our policy limits. Isn't this taken for granted? Would this be a good idea? and why? Thank you!
