| That really depends on a million different factors. Is the car unable to be driven? If you can drive it, there's no reason not to do so while you're waiting for the appraiser. I don't know how quick of a turnaround time you're expecting, but it can vary from a couple of days to a week or maybe 2 if there's something really unusual going on, for the adjuster to get the estimate back. But I don't know whether your adjuster is someone who does the estimate themselves, if there's another employee of the insurance company who does them, or if they're assigned out to an independent company. All those things affect the speed. |
