Auto Injury at fault ins company claim no coverage

What is the name of your state? GA
I was hit and injured in a company car. I need your help .The other motorist insurance company says they cant contact him and the vehicle he was driving wasn't covered, but the police report shows the insurance company and he was issued a citation for failing to obey traffic signal (ran red light). Can they do that? Im on Workmans Comp because of being on duty in company vehicle and if I have to use my UM coverage for injuries, pain and suffering. Do I have to pay Comp back for hospital bills and wages. I thank you in advance for your assitance.

Of course they can. Simply, the other driver lied about having coverage.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

what about the um insurance I read if I had a settlement with the other insured under their liability then they (WC) would be asking for subrogation to pay back WC for loss wagwes and medical bills but not pain and suffering

It is very likely, they may want to be paid back. If they find out you were in a non fault accident.

This sort of thing happened to me one time. I had a scooter accident. I had no medical insurance, I applied for medical, they paid it. Later medical somehow found out that I was involved in a non fault accident on which the other persons ins paid. Medical then WANTED their money back!
