Auto Insurance

What is the name of your state? New York State

A parent gives verbal permission for their young child to ride along in a cousin's car with a booster seat. gf, an auto accident occurs and the child is injured. Can the parents file suit and if so file suit directly against the driver or does the auto insurance agency get sued? Can the driver of the vehicle lose their house or any other properties because of it?

You Get Sued,,,if You Have Insurence Then They Will Cover You Up To The Limit Of The Policy.if Its More Than The Policy Well Then You Are Hung For It.

Hypothetical question/Auto accident

And if the fault is not of driver A whose passenger was GF injured or even GF killed but of the other driver, we'll call him driver B, does driver A still get sued from family member or do they sue driver B? If the suit asks for millions and driver A can be sued can driver A file bankruptcy to keep from losing their house?

This is just plain confusing. Post what happened, not hypothetical situations.
