Is there a federal law that prohibits an insurer from canceling a policy when it discovers that the insured is not a U.S. citizen?

YES, if you were HONEST about it on the application to get insurance.

Then you should contact your insurance commissioner of your state and demand they reinstate it.

Ignore Zappy. He is a forum troll who spouts his personal opinion and claims it as fact.

Tell you want 'Zippy'. How about you provide some support for your claim?? All you have to do is to provide ANY federal law that supports your claim. Ah, come on, you can do that.... can't you??
