auto insurance in new jersey

Hi, i Live in new jersey, two years ago, i received about 10 points, my insurance has gone through the roof, in which most companies will not insure me, or they want big down payments. I"m a man with two kids who can't afford it, it there any other type of insurance that may be cheaper?
