Bad Drivers

What is the name of your state? North Carolina

Back in August of 2005, I was sitting at a Red light off an exit ramp. I was looking left with my foot on the break trying to make a right on red or green light which ever was clear and gave my turn. I was rear-ended sort of side ways(back of car drivers side). My car was a camry and his was a SUV, he hit me so hard it moved my car forward and off to the side, and he could not leave because his steering column was broken. He was found at fault 100%. I did not need an ambulance, no blood and as far as could tell no other MAJOR stuff that needed attention of an ambulance. However I was 3 and 1/2 months pregnant. I was very shook up due to the impact and suffered ALOT of pain in my neck back hip and knee. I went to ER and was discharged with soft tissue damage and recommendation for PT until baby was born. Conclusion of rotated hip and that's all they could do because I was pregnant, no x-rays or mri's ect. I could barely walk and the pain was bad but because I was pregnant. Was in the hospital over a month about 3-4mos later and had to deliver early by c-section because of placenta too low (causing hemorrage) and transverse lie position. Could that be caused from the impact? And is there any documentation to proove this? And because I had to wait so long to get x-rays and Mri's...and extensive therapy, will that be compensated? Does anyone have some helpful info?

This is VERY expensive having to go to dr's 3 times or more a week for over a year!!!! All because someone was not paying attention!!The pregnancy was NOT enjoyed(but thank god my preemie was great), it was painful , and I have not been able to be myself since, it has caused SO many problems. No one will hire me because of the appointments I bare.Still to this day I have a hard time standing and holding my baby without grief. He was on the cell phone but would not admit it to the officer!

Contact a personal injury attorney.

What does the responsible party's insurance company say about all this? What are the bodily injury liability limits of the other party and the uninsured motorist bodily injury limits of your policy?

Well first thing is I have an attorney....I am checking to see other opinions and alike situations that maybe someone has some useful information for me. He had full coverage, as far as limits I do not believe there is any as I would have been told! I am trying to stay on top of things and cover medical bills! I have already used up all my med-pay.And would really like to see if there is more info on pregnant drivers injuries....as it's treated differently and prolonged. I suffered greatly and my child was born 11 weeks early and want to know if that could be related to rotated hip, knee injury's, spinal issues and trauma that could not be fully determined or diagnosed During the pregnancy, I had NONE of these problems before.I went from walking 2-3 miles a day to not barely making up the steps. Now I am lucky to go get the mail. Just curiously looking to hear and possibly get some info. I like to research EVERYTHING. Thank you for any suggestions from people.

I was in an auto accident 3 times total during 2 different pregnancies. Both of my babies were premature. I was not at fault. I was at a light each time. I never filed a claim.
