Being sued

I was in a auto accident in New York in July of 2005. A man went through a a red light turn arrow making a left turn in front of my car. I had the green light. When the police arrived they said it would be my word against his. Also when the police showed up he didn't speak english all of the sudden. His insurance company paid me 100% book value for my car, towing fees and storage charges. (I didn't have collison on my car) Now I am being sued by him for property damage and bodily injury. Is this something I should be worried about. Can he go after my personal assets.

He has no case. Especially if his own insurance co. paid f/ your loss. Turn this into your insurance co. and they will defend you if the loser wants to pursue it.
